JoypadPathfinder is an independent review site for free action games. We are controller players first, so every title here is tested with a gamepad, on a standard console and a mid-range PC, in the same conditions most readers have at home.
How testing works
A minimum of fifteen hours per game, spread over at least a week, including peak and off-peak hours so queue times and server behaviour are part of the picture. We play the default modes rather than seeking out favourable ones.
What goes into a rating
- Controls and feel — latency, controller options, precision under pressure. Weighted heaviest.
- Fairness — how much of the game a free account reaches and whether purchases affect outcomes.
- Match quality — matchmaking, stability, and how newcomers are treated.
- Long-term interest — whether we came back a month later without a reason to.
Independence
No studio pays for a listing or a score. We buy nothing during testing, which means the free experience is the one we describe.
Links, not hosting
Every launch button opens the developer's official page. We do not run, embed or stream any game, and we will never ask for your account credentials.
Fixing mistakes
Games get patched and reviews age. If an entry no longer matches reality, tell us through the contact form and we will update the page.
